Honor Flight Southern Colorado President



Cesar Ochoa is currently serving in the United States Air Force.  He joined in 1997 and has served under Security Forces Squadrons at Lakenheath Air Base in England, F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming, Beale Air Force Base in California, Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado, and is currently assigned to the Air Force Academy as an Academy Military Trainer.  In 2013 he joined his grandfather Jess Masias (WWII Marine Veteran) on an Honor Flight to Washington D.C. and has been helping this local hub until he took over as president of Honor Flight of Southern Colorado in January 2015.


Cesar grew up in Los Angeles and is currently married to Lina and they have four kids, Isaac, Isabella, Sophia, and Eric.  Cesar and Lina also love to have their nieces Calista, Elysea, and Marisa with them any chance they get.  He also coaches YMCA soccer for 3rd and 4th grade as well as 5th and 6th grade.  In addition, he coaches a cadet shooting and tactics team at the Air Force Academy.  Cesar is the oldest of seven, enjoys visiting with family and serving others in need.      


He is currently working closely with Cory, Nancetta, Dawn, Justin, Daphne, Michele, and Adam to serve southern Colorado veterans with the current Honor Flight mission, “We transport our heroes to Washington D.C. to visit and spend time at their memorials.  Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II veterans, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill”
